Bioethics is the part of ethics, philosophy branch, which focuses on the limits and purposes of human intervention on life, identifies rationally reference values and denounces the risks of possible applications. This study aimed to reflect on bioethics in dental practice. A literature review and an analysis of studies on bioethics in dental practice was conducted. We conclude, based on the literature, that contemporary society needs more than ever of ethical citizens and theDentists enable a more humanized work, viable, based on ethical principles.
