CARVALHO, LETICIA SIMINO et al. Evaluation of national scientific journals on ethical aspects. RPG, Rev. pós-grad. [online]. 2010, vol.17, n.1, pp. 37-41. ISSN 0104-5695.

The scientific experience began in the 16th Century with Galileu-Galilei (1564-1642), the physicist. Over the years, the number of experiments with humans had a huge increase, and a lot of people became concerned about the human beings value in researches. The term Bioethics was born in 1970, in United States of America and a new ethics style was proposed through the Belmont Report, in 1978. This ethics model applies as principles the respect for the people (autonomy), the obligation of do no harm, to maximize the benefits and minimize risks (beneficence) and the impartiality in the distribution of risks and benefits (justice). In Brazil, the National Health Council established the resolution 196/1996 to guide the rules on matter of ethics in researches with humans, which also has the social control as a concernment. The aim of this study was to verify if the national scientific magazines are working for the ethics are being applied with severity in the human researches.
