Thus, 142 children aged between 5 and 11 years, public school students, with an indication for ART, were treated and oriented by the dentist about the use of EVAF adapted, soon after the completion of the dental procedure. The children were classified into two groups. Group 1: Children 5-7 years: 74 (52%) and Group 2: Children 8-11 years: 68 (48%). Results: The choice by the children of the figure representing "satisfied" (85%) was predominant in EVAF adapted on the figures representing "surprised" (12%) and "concerned" (3%). According to statistical analysis Chi-square there was no statistically significant difference in perception of atraumatic restorative treatment between children in according age groups (p = 0.055). Conclusion: The analogue scale adapted showed that the majority of children have positive perception towards the treatment according to the ART technique.
