Gingival melanin physiological pigmentation is a common characteristic among many races. Some times 369 patients complain about gingival color and , insatisfied, show them unsatisfied because of the aesthetic factor. The authors show a case report with a complete removal of gingival melanin physiological pigmentation through partial thickness flap. This technique c an be used with success since permits a more comfortable post-operative than another techniques and with satisfactory results in two years follow-up.
