The Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a neuro-compressive pathology that affects the dentists because of their vulnerability, such as occupational disorder. This syndrome has increased over recent years because of working conditions that exist, flexion and extension of the wrist repeatedly and continuously, especially if associated with the strength and vibratory movements. The objective was to review the literature on the theme with a clinical focus seeking to determine the main aetiologicals aspects, as well as its clinical characteristics and methods of prevention.
