Objective: Introduction: Due to the growth in supply of dental care in the public service, it is observed that the labor market for Dentists in this sector is booming. Alongside this fact is recorded increasingly protests over low pay. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the compliance of the supplementary law nº 131 of 27 May 2009, the municipalities of the state of Pernambuco in relation to the remuneration of Dentists and draw a picture of the remuneration of that act in public. Methods: We selected 94 municipalities belonging to GERES (Regional Health Management) I, II, III and IV, chosen because they cover the major cities of the Metropolitan Area, Zona da Mata and Wasteland. Accessed to the home pages of these municipalities seeking links the existing transparency portal, verifying the type of information that was available, including the amounts allocated to human resources. Results: It was observed that only 2 % of the municipalities surveyed had their portal accessible with all the information required by law complementary nº 131 / 09, including the remuneration figures Dentists. Conclusion: It was concluded that the vast majority of municipalities in Pernambuco not fulfilled with legislation which not only derail the reality of pay category thereby demonstrates the unpreparedness, the carelessness and negligence that characterize the city managers in the state.
