Of them were taken key information contained in the text, regarding the evaluation of characteristics of these materials in scientific clinical studies. Seven articles reported acceptable clinical performance for the evaluated restorations, noting that some types of cavities are more feasible fault after the completion of the restorations. The use of composite resins in posterior teeth presents acceptability and clinical success. Your failures are attributed mainly to the properties of the restorative material itself and the sensitivity of restorative technique, being more common in restorations of class II cavities.
