The aim of this study was to report an experience in education and promotion of oral health of the baby held in the "Unidade de Saúde da Família Integrada Nova Conquista - João Pessoa/PB", as part of the activities of the "PET - Saúde da Família e Redes". The experiment consisted of two stages; the first consisted of a lecture about baby's oral health, held in the waiting room of the "Equipe Saúde da Família Mateus III", while mothers and/or caregivers were waiting the consultation childcare. The second phase was conducted during the childcare consultation, where the oral baby evaluation was taken, and the mothers received instructions on how to perform the cleaning of their children. This experience proved quite positive, with the inclusion of oral care to health care in general. The use of strategic spaces allowed greater access to knowledge of the population, where the childcare consultation was a time where possible integrate knowledge about nursing and dentistry in order to put the oral health as an essential part of baby's care. Directs the development of strategies to the pro-gress madein programs such as PET-Saúde to be consolidated by areal and effective teaching-service integration, withine vitable health benefit to the population.
