The change in the curriculum guidelines for undergraduate courses in Brazil was due to the need to adapt the graduate profile since the formation of a clinician - that not meet the requirements of the labor market - by teaching only centered in the technical-scientific field, created gaps between the field of knowledge and the humanistic aspect of health. Thus, the construction of Course's Pedagogical Project (CPP) based on the National Curriculum Guidelines and in accordance with Pedagogical Institutional Projects should be based on the collaboration of all stakeholders involved. The aim of this research was to evaluate the students' knowledge on the CPP of a Dental School at a public university. It was observed the students ignore the regulations that guide the higher education, highlighting the need for reorganization of the subjects participating in this process, with greater participation of all in the construction of CPP, so that the objectives of the training are in accordance with the National Curriculum Guidelines.
