BARROS, Érico Luiz Damasceno    LINS, Carla Cabral dos Santos Accioly. Anatomic and clinical considerations of the Eagle's Syndrome. IJD, Int. j. dent. []. 2010, 9, 2, pp. 90-92. ISSN 1806-146X.

Eagle's syndrome is a pathology characterized by an abnormally long styloid process temporal bone or by calcification of the stylohyoid ligament, presenting painful symptoms in the cervical-facial region. The added clinical examination to the comment of x-rays will make possible its diagnosis, and the conduction of an adjusted treatment, for each case. In such a way, this article had as objective to make a revision of literature approaching the importance of the knowledge of the anatomical aspects, and the clinical manifestations of this Syndrome, for the surgeon-dental.
