The hemangioma is a benign proliferation of blood vessels and is considered a hamartoma and not a true neoplasm. The lesions are asymptomatic and his progressive growth can cause traumatic injuries causing pain, ulceration and bleeding that depending on the region may become difficult to control, especially when bleeding is arterial. Conventional surgical excision, eletrocautery, laser therapy, embolization, cryotherapy, administration of interferon and chemical sclerotherapy are options therapeutics for treatment of oral hemangiomas. This work provides a review of literature and show alternative to surgical treatment of oral hemangiomas through a clinical case of hemangioma on the palate that was treated with intralesional infiltrations with ethanolamine oleate 5%.This case is proserv for a year
