Thecentralgiant cellgranuloma(CGCG) isa lesion with apredilection for females, usually beforethe age of 30, which presents itself radiographicallyuniormultilocularmorefrequent inthe anteriormandible. This lesionmay causetooth displacementandroot resorption, expansion ordestruction ofcorticalbone. Treatment optionsincluderesection, curettage, intralesional injections ofcorticosteroids, calcitonin, interferon, or a combination of techniques. The aim of thisstudy is to reportthe caseof apatient withCGCGtreated byintralesional injections oftriamcinolonefollowed bycurettageandperipheralostectomy.
