The nasolabial cyst is classified as a non-odontogenic and development cyst of the oral and maxillofacial region. It represents a rare extra-osseous lesion, corresponding to only 0.7% of all cysts that occur on the maxillofacial region. Clinically, it occurs as a tumefaction in the upper lip, at the nasolabial furrow region, causing a swelling on the nasal alar region. The authors report two cases of nasolabial cyst, emphasizing their clinical, tomographic and histological aspects and techniques of surgical excision.
