Transconjunctival approach with lateral canthotomy enables the surgeon adequate exposure of the infraorbital rim, the lateral margin of the orbit and orbital floor, with a low complication rate and excellent cosmetic results. This approach eliminates the need for skin incisions in the lower eyelid, as well as its complications. This work aims to present a case and discuss the technical details, as well as its indications and possible complications.
