As usual, each number of RSBO presents alterations and changes in its content structure, aiming to the journal's excellence for the scientific community. The first issue of 2011 has new features in its online version: the reports will be available both in Portuguese and English. The journal's editorial board made this decision some time ago, intending to disseminate RSBO's articles, worldwide. Therefore, this would increase the journal's visibility and enhance the amount of articles' citation by journals indexed at solid databases.

RSBO is still accepting texts in both languages, however, with faster publication of papers already submitted in English. Thus, the printed issue will maintain the current structure for now, that is, it will publish the paper as submitted by the author and received by the editorial board, either in Portuguese or English. Even if the articles were submitted in Portuguese, on RSBO's site, they will be presented in both languages. It is noteworthy to highlight that, in this first year, RSBO will support the papers' translations until the volume of texts received in English be considerable to maintain the online publication; from this point, the printed version will be also modified. Therefore, the migration from Portuguese to English will be a gradual process, and it will take some time until the journal be published only in English.

Other news of this issue is the "Dentistry Topics". This section presents literature review studies that deal with topics of Dentistry community's interest. The journal's editorial board will be responsible to determine the subject and invite renowned authors to write about what was chosen. However, this section will be available only online; RSBO printed version will show just the abstract of the online text.
