Public politics can be defined as a government set of actions, consisting of rules and procedures that assist government and society to in solving collective problems. The aim of this paper was to analyze public politics for public oral health services in Brazil. The results showed that dental care process needs to be improved. It was concluded that actually there are compensatory measures in public policy that aim for public dental care in order to achieve priority goals, choosing to benefit needy patients.
