This article presents a literature review of impression in Implantology. It describes different types of impression materials and its properties, types of impression trays, different impression techniques and the methods of accuracy analysis of the impressions and dental casts obtained. Its compositions, properties, advantages and disadvantages are presented and compared, and also how techniques and materials can influence clinical decisions.
