Abstract

Introduction: There are a wide variety of techniques, prescriptions and materials that can be used to correct malocclusions. Esthetic and discrete appliances have gained patient's popularity in recent years and there sees to be a continual search for new materials that can provide similar orthodontic results. Case report: this article will describe the relevant aspects of clear aligners and present clinical cases to document some of the applications of Invisalign®. Final considerations: aligners showed good results in the reported clinical case. They are an esthetic and comfortable appliance, easy to be cleaned and allow low-chair time to the patient as well.
