Abstract

The cleft lip and palate are congenital facial abnormalities that cause a series of functional, aesthetic, and psychosocial implications for the individual. The psychological consequences of the crack may originate after child birth, correlated with the way in which it is received in the family environment and the growth of these patients can be controversial if no suitable treatment exists. This feeling this study aimed to conduct a systematic review of literature on orthodontic treatment in health care to cleft patients and the use of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team in their care.
