Abstract

The mini-implants have revolutionized the concept of anchorage in orthodontics, because its effectiveness, easy installation and small size. Despite the small size, it is often necessary to put them in several locations in the oral cavity, leading to injuries and discomfort to the patient. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate a simple and effective in protecting the head of orthodontic mini-implants through the application of light-cured composite in your head. After cleaning the head of mini-implants composite resin is applied with the aid of a spatula so that hide the angles of the head of mini-implants with this method avoids injury to the tissues and greater comfort to the patient.
