RSBO presents its 2010’s number 4, highlighting its involvement in the rev@ odonto project sponsored by Scielo database to increase the online visibility of the Brazilian Dentistry journals. This project has been under discussion for some time at the annual meeting of Dentistry journals’ editors, and it has been now put into practice. Thus, very soon, RSBO will be available online on rev@odonto platform, aiming to facilitate the search for the most different area reports published in this journal by the reader and/or researcher.

Another project under development is the fusion of RSBO and POS Journal – Perspectives in Oral Sciences. This journal has been published by Positivo University since 2009, and the fusion negotiations started in the beginning of 2010. If this union occurs (the prevision is already in the beginning of 2011), RSBO would incorporate the aforementioned journal. However, no change in both the name and ISSN would happen. Consequently, RSBO would become a multicenter journal, which would strengthen all aspects of the journal.

Finally, another change planned for March 2011 issue is the launching of the “Dentistry Topics” section. This will be an invited paper where important subjects will be fully discussed. However, due to the number of pages and figures, this chapter will be presented only online; RSBO printed version will show just the link for the text available on the website.
