RSBO's third number of 2011 is the first totally in English language. The decision to translate RSBO numbers to English was made by the editors, at the beginning of this year, intending to journal's internationalization. Until the journal's consolidation, RSBO will sponsor the translation and revision costs of papers written in Portuguese and English, respectively. This aims to facilitate this transitional period.

Another novelty of this number is the recent indexation of RSBO at EBSCO database. Soon, all RSBO numbers will be available at the aforementioned database, further increasing the visibility of the papers published in the journal.

The results of the constant evolution of RSBO can be seen in the number of papers submissions to the journal, which increased 20% in 2011. Consequently, this also improves the ad hoc reviewers' criteria for approving the studies to be published in the journal, as well as enhances the studies quality. The current number still highlights 25% more foreign papers published, indicating that RSBO internationalization process is being gradually achieved.
